Thanks to our generous donors, The Bethany Foundation has brought meaningful improvements, comfort and care to our residents through these completed projects we're proud to share.

  • Blanket Warmers

In long-term care, many residents have limited mobility and can’t easily adjust when they feel cold. Blanket warmers help staff provide warmth and comfort — even though these aren’t funded items. Thanks to donor support, warmers have been installed at Bashaw Meadows, Faith House, and Viewpoint over the past two years.

  • Broda Chairs

For residents who find regular chairs uncomfortable — including those in palliative care or wanting time outside with loved ones — Broda chairs offer crucial support and comfort. The Bethany Foundation has funded one Broda chair for each of our three long-term care sites, with each chair costing approximately $4,900.

  • Sleeper Chair

A designated gift to support palliative care at Memory Lane in Camrose allowed us to purchase a sleeper chair — a chair that easily converts into a bed. It provides visiting family members a comfortable place to stay during long visits or overnight. Each sleeper chair costs around $3,500.
