The Bethany Group's own Melodie Stol (Stakeholder Relations Advisor) was honoured in Calgary, AB on December 3rd when she earned the Queen's Platinum Jubilee Medal. Stol was the first female Mayor of Blackfalds, serving for ten years, from 2007 to 2017. After 10 years of service, Alberta Municipalities inducted her as a lifetime member of the Alberta Municipalities Association- because of this designation, her and the other recipients of the lifetime membership were nominated for the Platinum Jubilee Medal in the Community Builders Category.
